Goverment Camp, Oregon
Decided to move on at 1:20pm. Made it to Hwy. 26. The weather looks worse and I could see snow on the mountain ahead of me so I walked the highway into Goverment Camp.
Met Chad, Bert and Rob Gordon at the Huckleberry Restaurant. I was surprized to learn that they had seen me on the internet while checking out PCT journals. They offered me the couch at thier place but having been out for 12 days I`m mudy and ripe so gona try to find a place near the laundry to get clean stay for a few days till the weather clears.
It`s all good,

Little Crater Lake
Wet day. Woke up wet. Hiked up to North East tip of Timothy Lake when it turned from rain to wet snow.
The snow clung to the branchs and filled the low spots in the trail with slush. I had tried Clackamas Lake Campground about three miles back but it was closed and the road blocked. Glad that I had my saw with me, used it to cut a downed lodge pole into three foot sections and made a big fire. Made a shelter and dried out all my gear. If the snow is not too deep I will try to make Timberline Lodge tomorrow.

Clouds today with some light rain.
Good hiking day. Met "Totaly Rachel"
on the trail today. Rachel lives in Washington State and is heading South from Canada to the Oregon/Calif. border where she will complete the whole PCT :)
Rachel was great company and I am glad that we met.
Hiked till dark then camped by the river. Not such a good campsite, fallen trees all over. Hope the wind does not blow tonight :)

Fantastic day !
Woke up in Jefferson State Park, hiked thirteen easy miles to Olallie Lake Resort via dirt road from Breitenbush Lake, Spoon Lake, Gibson Lake, Horseshoe Lake and Monon Lake.
Great campsites everywhere.
The staff at the Store are very friendly and the prices are resasonable. They rent small boats, campsites, tent-cabins and wood cabins.
Bad weather is predicted by the weekend but today was perfect, unseasonably warm and sunny.
It is usually cold as soon as the sun goes down but tonight the moon is full and the air warm.
A local person pointed me to a perfect campsite. About 250 yards from the store, 40 yards from Head Lake with a large fire ring and plenty of good wood.
